Dr. Bhaskar Mondal 


Bhaskar obtained his M.Sc. in physical chemistry from the University of Calcutta and his Ph.D. in computational chemistry from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science with Prof. Abhijit K. Das. After completion of his postdoctoral works in the group of Dr. Tell Tuttle at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow he moved to Germany to work in the group of Prof. Frank Neese at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion, where he was subsequently promoted to Junior Scientist in 2016. His current research interest is based on the design of transition metal based catalysts for small molecule activation. Bhaskar joined the Schoenebeck group in September 2017.
