Dr. Sherif Kaldas

 

Sherif Kaldas was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He completed his B.Sc. with honours at the University of Ottawa under the guidance of Prof. Louis Barriault. He then joined the group of Prof. Andrei Yudin at the University of Toronto for his doctoral studies. During his PhD Sherif had varied research interests and worked on the development of boron transfer reactions, benzyne chemistry and peptide macrocyclization reactions. Sherif joined the Schoenebeck group as a postdoctoral fellow in March 2020.
