Dr. Grant Sherborne 

 

Grant was born and raised in Birmingham, England.  He completed his MChem at the University of Leeds, which included a year-long placement at Unilever and masters research in the lab of Prof. Malcolm Halcrow.  Grant then began his PhD at the University of Leeds in 2013 under the supervision of Drs Bao Nguyen and Charlotte Willans, working on understanding deactivation pathways of metal catalysts, through kinetic and spectroscopic investigations.  After completing his PhD, Grant joined the Schoenebeck group in July 2017.
