Dr. Maoping Pu

Maoping was born and grew up in the Sichuan, China. He was an undergraduate at Wuhan, Huazhong Agricultural University and later the South China Normal University in Guangzhou. He studied quantum chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Qianshu Li. In 2011, he moved to Stockholm University for PhD studies. His doctoral work focused on ab inito molecular dynamics and mechanistic studies of Frustrated Lewis pair chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Timofei Privalov. Maoping joined the Schoenebeck group in August 2016.
