Daniel grew up in Ruppichteroth, Germany, and undertook his undergraduate studies in chemistry at RWTH Aachen University. He joined the Schoenebeck group in 2018 for his Master Thesis project in the area of Pd-catalysis and subsequently started his PhD studies in January 2019.
