Dr. Tatiana Rogova

Tatiana was raised in Toronto, Canada and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto in 2017. There, she studied History and Chemistry and completed her Bachelor’s Thesis under the supervision of Prof. Andrei Yudin, working on the synthesis of borylated peptidomimetics. She then went on to earn a DPhil degree in Organic Chemistry in 2022 at the University of Oxford, where she was co-supervised by Prof. Darren Dixon and Prof. Fernanda Duarte. Throughout her studies, she combined synthetic and computational research towards the development of photo- and organocatalytic transformations, which were applied in the synthesis of branched tertiary amines and other biologically-relevant compounds. Tatiana joined the Schoenebeck group as a postdoctoral researcher in July 2022.
