Manasjyoti Das
Manasjyoti was born in a small village known as Chaibari in Assam, India. In 2023, he completed his BSc
degree at Bhattadev University, Assam, where he used computational chemistry to study hydrogen bonding interactions under the guidance of Dr. Rajib Lochan Sarma. In 2025, he finished his MSc studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. During his MSc thesis, he I worked in the total synthesis laboratory of Prof. Krishna P. Kaliappan, focusing on the synthesis of polyhydroxy fused heterocyclic compounds. Manasjyoti joined the Schoenebeck group for his PhD studies in September 2025.
